The Garden’s new skating rink is made from Glice, a synthetic alternative to conventional ice that eliminates the need for refrigeration systems, loud generators, and other electric-powered components required to keep water surfaces frozen. Produced by a company of the same name, Glice provides a smooth and seamless skating experience. Glice rinks are installed in panels that are repurposed after their use. This and other eco-friendly production practices make up the Glice commitment to sustainability, which you can learn more about here.
