Whether it is a bridal or a baby shower, birthday, retirement, cocktail party, or memorial service—whatever the occasion may be—New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill provides a picturesque environment that your guests will talk about for years to come.

Each season offers a different garden experience. Spring brings beautiful bulbs including daffodils, tulips, and tender perennials. Summer features lilies, daylilies, and lush greens. In fall, experience the colorful New England foliage. Then in winter, escape the cold exploring semi-tropical plants and citrus trees in our two conservatories.

Effective January 1, 2026, all caterers serving NEBG private rental clients will comply with a new nut-free policy. Please note, however, that some food ingredients may be processed in facilities that also handle nuts.

Daytime social events are able to be hosted between the hours of 11am-3pm (2pm for conservatories). View our full Daytime Social offerings here.

*New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill is able to offer the use of its greenhouse conservatories approximately Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Please note that the conservatories are not air-conditioned and daytime rentals in July and August are not recommended.

Payment
A non-refundable 50% deposit of your rental fee is required at the time of contract-signing in order to guarantee arrangements with New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill. The remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to your event date.

New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill maintains an exclusive partnership with Peppers Artful Events for all evening events and ARTbar, a division of Peppers, for all bar service. Peppers is an award-winning caterer whose reliability for sumptuous foods, five-star service, and dazzling displays has built a name for them in the community and at the gardens.

Wireless internet access is available. A limited supply of audio/visual equipment is available for rent when ordered in advance. If available, this includes: LCD Projector ($250), Portable Flatscreen Computer ($250), Laptop ($150), Bose Speaker & Microphone ($250), Additional Microphone ($50)

You are welcome to bring in decorations to customize your space. We ask that you not bring balloons, confetti, or glitter, and that any flames are enclosed in glass (such as votive holders or hurricane glass). Décor must be free-standing and not affix to walls, ceilings, or plants. New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill’s plants and flowers are not able to be moved into or out of event spaces, so feel free to bring in your own arrangements. Ask your New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill event coordinator for a complete list of décor specifics.

Event insurance is included in the rental cost and is provided through a third-party in conjunction with the venue. Coverage includes general liability ($1,000,000 minimum) and property damage.
