Limited spots are available and are on a first-come, first-served basis upon arrival for both flash tattoos and vendor services.
Please note, names and contact information will be collected upon arrival for flash tattoo appointments. Clients will be notified by text when they are next on the list. Clients will have 5-10 minutes to arrive at the artist’s station from the point of text. A valid form of ID is required for an appointment. All clients must be 18 years of age or older and will be required to fill out a waiver.
Flash tattoo designs range from $100–$300 and can take anywhere from 10-40 minutes depending on the design. All tattoo artists accept PayPal, Venmo, or cash. Oracle readings are cash or PayPal only. Credit cards and checks will not be accepted. Please note there is no ATM on-site.
Meet the Artists
North Moon Tattoo is a private studio located in Millbury, MA. The studio is woman-owned and blends art with mindfulness. They are appointment-only and specialize in providing high-quality custom tattoos in a range of styles, in addition to cosmetic tattoos.

Danielle is inspired by vintage American traditional tattoos. Her work is timeless and incorporates bold colors and thick lines. Her traditional roses are beautiful! She loves traditional designs but can also create fine line dainty tattoos. @cool.hand.danielle
Stevie specializes in American traditional tattoos. She uses bold lines but has a very feminine tone to her work. She will tattoo anything at any time, and her love for tattooing shines in her work. @stevierandallyn
Taylor has a little seed growing. This expecting mama’s tattoos are heavily inspired by florals. She specializes in black and grey designs, and her fine line/dot work style is clean and elegant. @_thetaytatoos
Toula specializes in dainty black and grey tattoos. She is inspired by botanicals and animals, and her love for both is evident in her designs. Her animal tattoos will make you smile. @tattoosbytoula

Flash tattoos are pre-drawn designs created by tattoo artists that clients can choose from to make for a quicker and simpler tattooing experience. Flash designs provide the client with ready-made options that represent exactly what they will be getting inked onto their skin, as opposed to working with an artist to create a custom design.
This pop-up event consists of 5 tattoo artists who will be offering their own 2–5-inch flash tattoo designs inspired by plants and florals. Visitors will have the opportunity to get inked within the picturesque setting of our subtropical Orangerie conservatory.
Flash tattoo appointments are walk-in only and are first-come, first-served. Each artist should be able to take around 10-12 clients each throughout the day. Names and contact information will be collected upon arrival. Clients will be notified by text when they are next on the list and will have 5-10 minutes to arrive at their artist’s station from the point of text. A valid ID is required for an appointment. All clients must be 18 years of age or older and will be required to fill out a waiver.
Additional vendors providing henna, permanent jewelry, and oracle readings will be on-site through the duration of the event. Oracle readings will be available from 11am-2pm and are cash and PayPal only.

The event begins at 10am when the Garden opens to the public and runs until 4pm. Visitors are welcome to arrive at any point between that timeframe. If you are hoping to get a flash tattoo or visit the other vendors, we recommend arriving on the earlier side. Please plan to arrive no earlier than 10am; early admittance is not permitted.
Plan to arrive no earlier than 10am. After parking your vehicle, proceed up the path into the Visitors Center. If you reserved your general admission tickets in advance, please have your ticket/confirmation email printed or available to show on your phone for our front desk staff to check you in.
If you did not purchase your general admission tickets in advance, your reservation and payment will be completed on-site upon check-in at the front desk.
After checking in at the front desk for general Garden admission, there will be a separate check-in station in the Visitors Center for the first-come, first-served flash tattoo appointments. Clients will have 5-10 minutes to arrive at their artist’s station from the point of text.
Yes, this event is included with general admission which includes access to our formal gardens and wooded trails during your visit. Once you are checked in, you are welcome to stay until New England Botanic Garden closes at 5pm.
Tickets for general admission are non-refundable after you have checked in. If you were unable to secure a flash tattoo appointment, there are many other things to enjoy during your visit! Browse additional vendors at the pop-up, explore our 200 acres of beautiful formal gardens and wooded trails, visit the Garden Shop, or enjoy lunch at the Farmer and the Fork café.
If you reserved your tickets in advance but decide before you arrive that you can no longer attend on the date for which you purchased tickets, you have several options. Click here to view our general admission Ticket Refund and Exchange Policy. None of these options will result in cash or credit card refunds for unused ticket purchase price.
This pop-up is an indoor event that takes place in all weather conditions. In the case of hazardous weather, New England Botanic Garden may decide to close. If the event is cancelled, you will be notified by email as soon as possible on the day of your visit and you will receive a full refund for your general admission reservation.
During your visit, be sure to check out the Farmer and the Fork café which offers a variety of sandwiches, bowls, soups, desserts, and drinks. Orders can be placed in person in the café or online for pick up at your selected time. The café is open from 11am-4pm. Outside alcohol is not permitted at the Garden.
Yes, the Garden Shop will be open for their regular hours from 10am-5pm.
We have a large parking lot on site. There is no charge for parking.

If you choose to use Uber, Lyft, or another taxi service, please note that our entry gate on French Drive will close automatically for arriving vehicles at the end of general admission hours. Please plan to be picked up before the property closes at 5pm.
