GROUP VISITS AND TOURS

New England Botanic Garden is the perfect destination for groups large and small to connect with nature and each other.

To book a private tour or group visit please fill out the Group Reservation Form or email Rose Yelinalch, Private Events Specialist, at ryelinalch@nebg.org with questions. Group reservations are scheduled daily, 10am-3pm (6pm during summer extended hours).   Please book at least two weeks in advance or one month in advance for golf cart tours. Payment can be made in advance with check or credit card one week prior to your visit. A signed invoice is required to confirm your reservation.

Group Offerings

Bring your group to New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill to tour our gorgeous conservatories and grounds on your own.  The Garden offers a group rate discount for 10 or more paying people upon prior arrangement.

Upon request, New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill will open its doors a half an hour early on Wednesday mornings from 9:30–10am for groups seeking a low sensory, less crowded environment in which to enjoy the Gardens. Regular group rates will apply. During this time, the Garden Shop and Farmer & Fork Cafe will not be open.

Golf Cart Tours are led by a trained garden guide.  Tours include several of the Garden’s wooded areas and formal gardens.  Guests will visit the Lawn Garden, Vegetable Garden, Shade Garden, Wildlife Pond and Inner Park.

Larger Groups: For groups of up to 10 guests, 2 back-to-back tours can be scheduled (5 guests per tour)

Frequently Asked Questions

Groups who are interested in enjoying lunch from our café, the Farmer and the Fork, must pre-order their boxed lunches at least one week prior to their arrival.  Please note that orders must be made in one transaction and can be picked up in person between 11:30am-2:30pm. Members of your group may also bring their own bagged lunch to eat picnic style in the gardens. No outside catering or alcohol is permitted. There are scattered tables throughout the gardens and in the Northeast Link (a small room on the east side of the Orangerie), and you may spread a blanket on any mown grassy area. Seating throughout the gardens is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Café seating is reserved for customers of the café.

Garden staff are happy to provide a list of local restaurants should you decide to enjoy lunch elsewhere before or after you visit.

Tours are held rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, we will reschedule your tour, however, tour refunds are not available. Group rate admission fees still apply during New England Botanic Garden extended hours.

Tickets are non-refundable and only valid for the date and time listed above. Groups have one opportunity to choose to reschedule on their own based on availability for an additional fee of $50.
